Having a kitchen that reflected a modern, minimalist feel – in keeping with the industrial style of this property in one of Knysna’s most sought after estates – was another top priority.
Our view of the kitchen is that it should be a versatile project that can adapt to the requirements of its owners while at the same time being highly functional. Testament to this we brought together the Forma Mentis back run with the Riciclantica island, combining innovation of forms and materials. The new PVC-free materials of the Forma Mentis can be disposed of without producing dioxin emissions, whilst the Riciclantica eco-tech kitchen ensures the utmost lightness and environmental protection thanks to the dematerialised doors and worktop.
The owner opted for the touch steel Riciclantica island to match the rusted metal look and feel of the rest of the kitchen and house. A black, back run was incorporated to ensure a continuous line and to heighten the minimalistic appeal. Another feature of kitchen is the tempered glass worktops in black.
